  • Every project is different, which means your pricing will be, too. Hands-on organizing days generally range from $400 to $1600, depending on the hours and size of the team. We do have a standard pricing menu, but the most accurate estimate comes after we’ve created your personalized organizing action plan. That’s when we’ll map out your goals, decide on the best approach, and make sure we’re working within your budget.

    When you work with Short Order, you’re not just getting a project checked off your list—you’re learning along the way. We love seeing that “skills transfer” moment when clients start using the same tricks we do. Many clients book at least two full days to take advantage of our package rates, while others hand us the whole action plan and let us run with it, whether that’s knocking it out in a few weeks or spreading it over time.

    Either way, we make the process simple, stress-free, and tailored to you.

  • Sessions are booked in 3-hour increments. A half-day session is 3 hours, while a full-day session lasts 6 hours. We’ll discuss what works best for your project and schedule during our consultation to make sure we find the right fit for your needs.

  • The number of sessions depends on the size of your space, how much decluttering is needed, and your organizing goals. After our consultation, we can give you a clearer estimate. The overall timeline varies based on factors like how quickly decisions are made, how consistently we schedule sessions, and whether you’re able to complete any tasks between visits to help speed up the process.

  • Not at all! It helps to see your space as it is to understand what’s working and what isn’t. That way, we can create systems that fit your needs.

  • It’s entirely up to you! Some clients like to be present, while others prefer to give us a key and let us work while they’re away. If we’re decluttering, we’ll need your input, but once that’s done, you’re free to step away while we finish up.

  • Absolutely! We can assist with decluttering as you pack, so you only take what you love to your new home. We can also be there on moving day to ensure boxes go to the right rooms and help unpack and organize, giving your new space a fresh, organized start.

  • Yes! We can use any bins or baskets you already own, but for the best results, we often recommend selecting products that maximize your space. We’ll handle the shopping, and you’ll only be charged for the items you keep.

  • Our session fees cover the time spent organizing, designing your space, and sourcing products. However, the cost of any baskets, bins, or containers we use is billed separately. We’ll discuss your budget and preferences before making any purchases.

  • We include one complimentary donation trip in our sessions to a local charity such as Goodwill or Lifeline Animal Project. If you have a preferred charity, we’re happy to accommodate your request whenever possible.
