Meet Laura Dengler, Founder
Short Order grew from my love of both organization and design. With a background in graphic design and a lifelong appreciation for well-designed interiors, I’ve always believed that a home should be both beautiful and functional.
But real life is messy. I’ve lived in small historic bungalows with tiny closets, navigated renovations and multiple moves, and raised kids from babies to teenagers (along with all their stuff). I’ve learned that every season of life demands its own systems, and that those systems only work when they’re designed for the way you actually live.
That’s why I started Short Order.
To help families, realtors, and designers cut through the clutter and create spaces that are functional, comforting, and a little easier to live in every day. A picture-perfect Instagram home might not be realistic for everyone, but a functional, comforting, and clutter-free space is. Because the best home isn’t the one that looks perfect, it’s the one that works perfectly for you.
